To me, creative coding is a tool, a material and a way of thinking. The more I learn, the more I realise that there is so much more to learn in the world of coding. I want to make the invisible visible, by showing you my experiments. Also make sure to check out my NFTs and support my work!

Masterclass Creative Coding

November 2022

Together with Bart Simons, we held this crash course to a group of teachers from Mediacollege Amsterdam. This was part of the Innovation Accelerator of GMI design school.

In addition to all the examples and demonstration with P5.js, the group also started writing their own code.

'Ultra Pix 500'

My submission to the #HEN500k event; to celebrate that a total of 500.000 NFTs were submitted on Hic et Nunc.

500 editions were available during the event. After that, the unsold artworks were burned.

Img_explode experiment 5.5

This is a part of the experiment-series I have done using (analogue) photography. I wanted to discover the 'hidden' layers behind photographs, by manipulating the pixels.

Via this project, I got in touch with the 3D-side of Processing.

Why not using pictures as a digital brush?

2019/2020
Part of visual research for my graduation project.

Exploring hidden layers behind a photograph,by pinpointing specific properties and manipulating /enhancing / stretching / twisting these.

The Future Interface

Is there a possibility to have a general utopia?

Theoretical research about future interfaces using machine learning.

It is a mere speculation, because after all;
“even our wildest imaginings are all collages of experience, constructs made up of bits and pieces of the here and now”
